This bench was designed in conjunction with the children of the Country School in Madison. It is located in the central courtyard of the school and circles a tree planted to replace the iconic one that had recently fallen down. We worked in conjunction with Grayson metal to lay out and fabricate the frame. It was built in pieces and then brought to site where it was then connected to concrete bases. Then we decked the top with Meranti Mahogany. The bench varies in height from around 13" for the younger children to 18" for the older children and adults. It was a great experience all around building this bench.
